What is it Twitter?
twitter.com is a micro-blogging service, started up as a SMS blogging site meaning that you send text messages to twitter to update your status and twitter messages you with any updates that any person you followed post to twitter, during the first couple of years twitter was mainly reached through text messages there for twitter updates had a limit of 140 characters the same limit as how many charters one standard SMS can contain.
but as the iPhone and other smart-phones have evolved twitter focus have change to now being a mobile client focused network
follow/unfollow
just like any other normal socialnetwok you can connect to other users, on twitter this function is called “follow” twitter is based on an open social structure as you can normally follow any person you want to without needing the approval of the person being followed
twitter it both used by private people but to a wide extent it is used as an expert network where you connect to people/companies that are experts with in a felt that interests your. Much like any blog or new-site.
What we have to do is delivered to people the best and freshest most relevant information possible. We think of Twitter as it’s not a social network, but it’s an information network. It tells people what they care about as it is happening in the world.
- Evan Williams
i believe that just like any other social network/blogging service twitter plays an essential role in connecting the world we live in and improve the rights and freedom of speech for the individual
en example of this is feature in an article from CNN.com Student ‘Twitters’ his way out of Egyptian jail where an American citizens was arrested while covering an anti-government demonstration in Mahalla, Egypt, while being transported to prison he tweeted “arrested” with in a few seconds his friends both in the USA and Egypt was aware of that something had happened to him with the help from his friends he was able to get out again
it’s a Student job… NOT A REAL JOB!
A couple of days ago I told my boss that I wanted to quit my position, it’s not a “real” job it’s just a student job so I don’t really earn that much from working there actually the wage is really low compared to the energy and time I but into it.
The main reason for why I decide to quit, is the amount of time it consumes, it’s crazy I spend so much timer working and if you compare it with the pay I get for doing it, it just insane that I ever took the job in the first place.
Okay I did lean a whole lot of stuff from working there, mainly about how people work with projects and deadlines, some people just don’t respect a deadline that’s sort of another reason why I quitted the job.
But learned a lot about how to motivate and guide employees and how not to do those things are actually really important as my education is within the field of motivation
I don’t really think that me quitting will have a big effect or that depends on whether they manage to find some one to replace me before I leave.
I have agreed to help the person who gets the job with all the basic of the job.
